01

Project Start

Initial payment confirms the project and allows work to begin.

Project work continues according to the approved scope and milestones.

  • Change requests should be approved before additional work begins.
DATA

Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for providing accurate business information, approved content, logos, images, credentials and timely feedback where required for the project.

TIME

Project Delays

Delays in receiving content, approvals, access, payments or required information may affect the estimated project timeline.

05

Website Ownership & Intellectual Property

↓
Unless the applicable proposal or agreement states otherwise, ownership of custom project deliverables intended for the Client transfers only after all undisputed project balances have been paid in full.
  • Client-provided logos, trademarks, photographs, text and business content remain the Client's property.
  • Custom final website deliverables may transfer to the Client after full payment, subject to applicable project terms.
  • Webcomelite retains ownership of pre-existing tools, reusable components, development methods, frameworks, systems and know-how.
  • Open-source software, plugins, fonts, stock assets and third-party services remain subject to their respective licenses.
  • A Client may not resell or redistribute Webcomelite's reusable proprietary systems as standalone products unless expressly agreed in writing.
06

SEO Services & Search Rankings

↓
SEO services may include technical optimization, on-page optimization, metadata, structured data, content recommendations, performance improvements, analytics configuration and other agreed activities.
Important: SEO does not guarantee a specific Google ranking, traffic level, number of leads, revenue amount or search position. Search results depend on factors outside Webcomelite's direct control, including search-engine algorithms, competitors, market conditions, website history and third-party platforms.
07

Website Speed & Performance Optimization

↓
Speed optimization may include image optimization, caching configuration, code optimization, database cleanup, script optimization, CDN configuration and other performance-related work included in the project scope.
  • Actual performance may vary between devices, browsers, networks, hosting environments and geographical locations.
  • Third-party scripts, plugins, advertising systems and external services may affect performance.
  • A particular PageSpeed, Lighthouse or Core Web Vitals score is not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.
08

Hosting, Plugins & Third-Party Services

↓
Websites may depend on third-party hosting providers, domain registrars, plugins, APIs, payment providers, analytics platforms, advertising platforms, fonts, stock assets and other external services.
  • Third-party fees are not included unless specifically stated in the project scope.
  • Third-party providers may change pricing, functionality, policies or availability.
  • Webcomelite is not responsible for outages or policy changes caused solely by external providers.
  • Clients remain responsible for subscriptions that are registered directly under their own accounts.
09

Cancellation, Refunds & Project Suspension

↓
Because website development involves reserved project capacity, planning, design, development time and other resources, cancellation and refund terms will follow the applicable proposal, invoice or written agreement.
  • Work already completed may be chargeable.
  • Approved or completed third-party purchases may not be refundable.
  • If a project is paused because of missing client information, approvals or payment, the timeline may be adjusted.
  • Any refund, credit or cancellation arrangement will be determined according to the applicable project agreement.
10

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

↓
If a Client believes there is an issue with an invoice, service or payment, the Client should contact Webcomelite first so the matter can be reviewed and resolved where possible.
  • Clients agree not to initiate an unjustified payment reversal or chargeback for services that were properly authorized and delivered.
  • Webcomelite may provide proposals, invoices, approvals, project communications, delivery records and other relevant documentation to the applicable payment processor when responding to a payment dispute.
  • A payment reversal may result in project suspension until the disputed amount is resolved.
11

Confidentiality

↓
Webcomelite will take reasonable steps to keep confidential business information provided by the Client for the purpose of delivering services. Confidential information should not be disclosed to third parties except where reasonably necessary to provide the services, comply with applicable law, protect rights, or use authorized service providers.
12

Portfolio & Marketing Rights

↓
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Webcomelite may display the completed website or selected project visuals in its portfolio, case studies, website or marketing materials after the project has been publicly launched. A Client who requires confidentiality regarding the project should request a written confidentiality or portfolio restriction arrangement before project completion.
13

Limitation of Liability

↓
Webcomelite will use reasonable professional care when providing services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Webcomelite will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from factors outside the agreed service scope or the Client's control. This may include losses arising from third-party platform outages, domain issues, hosting failures, algorithm changes, cyber incidents outside reasonable control, inaccurate Client information or unauthorized changes made by third parties.
Any liability limitation should be reviewed and customized according to the jurisdiction and specific contract governing the project.
14

Termination of Services

↓
Either party may request termination of a project or ongoing service relationship according to the applicable proposal, agreement or written notice requirements. Upon termination:
  • Outstanding approved invoices remain payable.
  • Work completed up to the termination date may be chargeable.
  • Access to services, hosting or maintenance may be suspended where applicable.
  • Final deliverables will be handled according to the payment and ownership provisions of the applicable agreement.
15

Governing Law & Disputes

↓
These Terms should be read together with the applicable proposal, invoice and project agreement.
